The CAN-AO4 offers 4 analog outputs. 0..10V, ±10V, optionally also 0/4..20mA can be output.
A watchdog is available on the module, which monitors the communication with the module. Times of
up to 200s can be set in 20ms intervals. If the module is not addressed within the set time, the
outputs are set to 0.
In bipolar operation, a choice can be made between a linerar or 2-complement coding.
The CAN bus can be operated with baud rates up to 1MBaud. There are 3 options available for
communication with the CAN-AO4 module: On the one hand a simple CAN protocol, on the other hand
a CANopen® slave implementation, alternatively a
DeviceNet® slave.
